The Silicon Valley. A mysterious place somewhere in California. A place where many of the “breaking innovations in IT” in the past 10 years came from.
And well, there is a country called Austria. But as we’ve learned from an Austrian politician (Hubert Gorbach): “The world in Vorarlberg is too small”. So what do we need here in Austria? Yep, we need our own “Silicon Valley”.
A vision many politicians and economists dream of. And this vision seems so strong, even small communities in Lower Austria started to dream the “next big thing” would start in their backyard.
So far, nothing (ok, nearly nothing) changed or happend.
What happend and which abstruse phantasms came to the surface, we will shed some light.
While you’re waiting for the “next big thing” to happen in Austria, you may want to check out some stuff we found on Amazon to give you the right “Silicon Valley feeling“.
